Hand-carved and hand-painted green woodpecker from Swedish Wildlife Garden's DecoBird range.
In Denmark, the green woodpecker mainly lives in Jutland, where there are around 500 pairs.
The green woodpecker feeds largely on ants and other insects on the ground and grows up to 32 cm long.

Another beautiful wooden bird. I was a little worried that it might be a bit too light-colored, as in the picture, but it is very beautiful and lifelike.
