Denk hedgehog house - snail shell

Incredibly cute little hedgehog house from German brand DENK. Suitable both as a winter shelter and as a safe place to have young. The perfect way to create a welcoming habitat for hedgehogs in your garden. Hedgehogs are both delightful and incredibly useful animals, as they feed on insects, slugs and snails, among other things.

The size of the house is suitable for both large hedgehogs and hedgehog families.

Handmade in Germany from a special patented type of ceramic that can easily withstand being outdoors in all kinds of weather, year after year. The ceramic also absorbs the sun's heat during the day and releases it again at night. The manufacturer provides a full 15-year warranty on the ceramic.

The hedgehog house should be placed in a quiet spot in the garden, preferably somewhere that dogs in particular cannot access, as dogs may unfortunately try to bite hedgehogs. You can dig a small hollow beneath the house and fill it with gravel to allow water to drain away. Then place hay or straw, for example, on top of the gravel to make it soft and warm.
