Wildlife World Hedgehog House

This hedgehog house from the English company Wildlife World is optimally designed to meet hedgehogs' need for protection – from both predators and the elements. The hedgehog house is recommended by the English 'Hedgehog Preservation Society', which works to protect hedgehogs.

It has a narrow entrance hole that is just the right size for a hedgehog. This is followed by a maze-like partition that the hedgehog must navigate before entering the innermost chamber. 

The hedgehog house is made from recycled plastic mounted on a plywood frame. It is securely screwed together and can therefore withstand most conditions.

The roof can be lifted on one side and rotated off, allowing the house to be cleaned outside the winter season, provided it is not in use.

Place it in a quiet, sheltered spot in the garden. Cover it lightly with leaves or similar materials to camouflage it.
