Wildlife World Feeder Protector

Protection against large birds, designed to be placed around bird feeders. Made by the British company Wildlife World.

The guard helps keep large birds away from your feeder while still allowing small birds access. This means you can avoid rooks, magpies and similar birds, which often practically attack feeders and empty them in record time, leaving no food for small birds such as tits and great tits.

Hang up the guard, then simply hang an ordinary bird feeder from the hook inside. It may take a little while for the small birds to get used to it, but they will soon figure it out. The large birds, on the other hand, will continually hit their wings and tails against the metal rings and thus stay away.

The small birds also have more places where they can perch and wait for their turn, so you may often see even more activity around the feeder.
