Wildlife World wild bee house

EUR 41.95

House specially designed for the garden's wild bees from English Wildlife World .

Wild bees, unlike for example honey bees, live by themselves and like to lay their eggs in holes and pipes. This house has a series of holes that are precisely sized to attract wild bees and give them a safe place to lay their eggs.

Wild bees are incredibly useful animals that pollinate many of the garden's plants, and at the same time they are calm animals that are very friendly towards children and pets, for example.

The roof of the house can be opened so that you can inspect the work of the bees. Where the roof opens, there is a plexiglass so that the bees' nests are not affected by people looking.

Optimally set to the south-east to catch the morning sun, and placed between ground level and 1.5 meters high.

It is made of solid, FSC-labeled wood. The wood is untreated and thus completely harmless to the bees. Delivered in a box and is therefore also suitable as a gift.

Note: As it is a 100% untreated natural material, knots, small cracks, etc. may occur.
