Wildlife World Wild Bee House

House specially designed for wild bees in the garden from the English company Wildlife World.

Unlike honeybees, for example, wild bees live alone and readily lay their eggs in holes and tubes. This house has numerous holes precisely sized to attract wild bees and provide them with a safe place for their eggs.

Wild bees are incredibly useful creatures that pollinate many garden plants. They are also calm and very friendly towards children and pets, for example.

The roof of the house can be opened, allowing you to inspect the bees' work. Beneath the opening is a sheet of plexiglass, so the bees' nests are not disturbed when you look inside.

Ideally, it should face southeast to catch the morning sun and be positioned between ground level and a height of 1.5 metres.

It is made from solid, FSC-certified wood. The wood is untreated and therefore completely harmless to the bees. Supplied in a box, making it ideal as a gift.
