This 'squirrel protector' is designed to prevent red, gray, and black squirrels from stealing food from hanging bird feeders. The deflector not only protects the bird food from both hungry squirrels, but also from weather conditions such as strong sun and rain.
To achieve the best protection, the protector should be placed over a bird feeder in the garden. It should hang high and not be near walls or fences, as squirrels can jump at least 1.2 meters vertically and up to 1.8 meters horizontally.
Designed in the UK and made from heavy-duty powder-coated steel. It fits most hanging bird feeders and ensures that the birds can eat their food in peace. If the squirrels should have their own feeding place, a separate feeder can be set up for them.
