Wildlife World sheep with wool

By hanging the sheep in the garden, preferably near bird nesting boxes, you make it easy for garden birds to find warm, soft nesting material for their nests.

You can also insert a small branch through the sheep to make it easier for the birds to perch while collecting wool and other nesting material.

Once the sheep has been emptied of wool, it can of course be refilled. You can use fresh wool, as well as fur from your dog, cat, rabbit or other pets. If you do not have any to hand, you can also use cotton wool, unravelled cotton or similar materials. Just remember that the material must be biodegradable and untreated with chemicals.
