Denk bumblebee castle in granite

Bumblebees are among the most important pollinators in nature, and now you can improve conditions for these useful creatures with a bumblebee house – or castle, as the manufacturer rightly calls it.

In spring, the bumblebee queen uses the dwelling as a nest, and in autumn as a place to hibernate for the winter.

The house consists of a top and a base plate, making it easy to open for cleaning. At the same time, the lid is heavy, so it will not simply fall off. Wool is included as a good start for nest building.

The bumblebee nest is made from a material Denk calls Granicium. It is essentially pure granite heated to temperatures so high that it melts, allowing it to be shaped. It is therefore a 100% natural product that is extremely hard and durable. Denk provides a full 15-year warranty on the material.
