Denk bumblebee castle

Bumblebees are among the most important pollinators in nature, and now you can improve conditions for these beneficial creatures with a bumblebee house—or castle, as the manufacturer rightly calls it.

The bumblebee house is handmade in Germany from a special, patented ceramic. The ceramic is extremely durable and frost-resistant—and it has unique thermal properties, absorbing heat during the day and releasing it at night.

In spring, the bumblebee queen uses the dwelling as a nest, and in autumn as a hibernation shelter for the winter.

The house consists of a top and a base plate, making it easy to open for cleaning. At the same time, the lid is heavy, so it will not simply fall off. Wool is included as a good start for nest building.

The entrance is painted blue, as bumblebees are attracted to this colour.
