Telescopic hedge shears from British brand Burgon & Ball. Made with a lightweight aluminium handle and a head in high-quality steel. The handle is coated with rubber to ensure a good grip.

The hedge shears have a unique gearing mechanism that enables them to cut through even thick branches, giving them 60% more cutting power than other hedge shears. 

The cutting blades are curved, helping to 'catch' branches and leaves so they do not slip out when cutting.

The overall length of the shears can be adjusted from 65.5 to 85 cm.

Super good hedge shears

I am very happy with my hedge trimmer. It is lightweight, sharp, and gets the job done without much effort. I trimmed 60 m of hedge without any major problems, and it can also handle thicker branches. Now I just need to learn how to maintain it.

Practical hedge shears

Since I have some wide hawthorn bushes, I bought these shears, which weigh no more than ordinary hedge shears.
I have now managed to tackle the middle section of my bushes and am pleased with the shears. I should note that, as I don't have a great deal of strength in my arms, they become heavy if I have to do a lot of cutting with my arms outstretched—though when extended, they are very long. But they are incredibly helpful if you just want to trim a little beyond normal reach.

A functional garden tool

A well-designed and, above all, functional garden tool. The adjustable handle length makes hedge trimming easier. As the handle is already longer, you do not have to bend down when trimming the bottom of the hedge. The handles are a good thickness to grip (especially for arthritic hands).
