Sturdy grass shears
The shears seem to be of good quality, although I can imagine that the soft part of the handles may not be as pleasant to hold in 5 years. It takes a steady hand to cut all the blades ( and not just flatten them ) when trimming along a high edge ( e.g. a raised bed ), so they are most useful for maintaining the lawn edges along flower beds and trimming grass that has grown a little too tall for the lawn mower to handle.

Edging shears for tall people
The Burgon & Ball edging shears are comfortable to hold, relatively lightweight and sharp – that is, if you are tall, because unfortunately I cannot cut with the shears when holding the comfortable ergonomic grips, and the alternative, holding them halfway down the handles, is also awkward. Furthermore, the handles seem too light to provide good control of the relatively long and heavy-duty shears. The shears are probably suitable for tall men and women, but ideally they should also come in a shorter version for all of us who are not so tall. Perhaps the balance between the handles and the shears should also be looked at.
