It has an impressive capacity of 7 litres, which an average household will fill in 4-5 days. Uniquely, it has an activated carbon filter in the lid to prevent unpleasant odours.

The compost bin can be emptied into either a compost container or a green waste bin, but many also use it to collect food scraps for chickens, for example. It is also ideal for cat and dog food – and even nappies, as it contains odours.
