This compost caddy is made from recycled bamboo fibres that have been transformed into a plastic-like material. The base of the compost caddy is dishwasher safe, which says a lot about the durability of the material.
It has a capacity of approx. 4.5 litres, which an average household fills in 2-4 days.
The compost caddy can either be emptied into a compost bin or a waste container for green waste, but many also use this compost caddy to collect food scraps for chickens, for example. It is also very suitable for cat and dog food - and even nappies, as it contains the odour.
The compost caddy is 28 cm high including the knob and has a diameter of 17 cm.
Please note that the steel handle appears to be anthracite in the picture, but it is made from pure stainless steel, just like on the natural version.
