This cottage from Sweden's Wildlife Garden is both a birdhouse and a bird feeder that can easily be converted at the end of the season. In spring, it provides a safe place for nesting birds. In autumn, it can easily be converted into a bird feeder.

As a birdhouse, this cottage is suitable for sparrows and tits. It was developed in collaboration with ornithology experts and includes important details such as climbing grooves leading up to the entrance hole – vital for the little chicks when they are ready to leave the nest and test their wings.

When feeding birds, it is important that they cannot sit in the food. Diseases spread easily on open bird tables. In this cottage, the food is protected from dirt, rain and snow, and the birds perch on rods while eating. The rods can also be pushed in so that only small birds can perch there.
