Iconic watering can from the Dutch brand Xala.

The watering can was created by designer Davy Grosemans, who based its shape on a traditional teapot and—with great success—adapted it into a completely different object.

The Xala Lungo watering can was originally created in a 12-litre version, but is now available in this new 8-litre version—a size suitable for most purposes without becoming too large and heavy.

It is moulded from plastic and comes in several colours.

Cool design but too expensive

The watering can stands out and gets noticed, and it is easy to use, as it has two handles and is well balanced. But considering that it is made of "cheap" plastic with visible and noticeable moulding seams, it is too expensive.

Xala Lungo watering can; both decorative and functional

I have several of these quirky watering cans myself in different colours and sizes, and recently bought one for a friend. They look decorative and spark conversations about the old Madam Blå coffee pots. Besides being decorative, it is functional and easy to pour from.
