MKW wood-concrete birdhouse for tits
This birdhouse from Polish MKW is made of solid wood-concrete, consisting of a mixture of cement and wood fibres. The material provides a very robust and weather-resistant construction that effectively protects against rain, frost, and temperature fluctuations. Wood-concrete also has good insulating properties, contributing to a more stable internal climate during the breeding season.
The exterior surface is treated with a water-based and odourless protective finish that is gentle on birds and ensures a long service life without the need for maintenance. The design is tailored to small cavity-nesting birds and supports natural nesting behaviour.
The birdhouse measures 25 cm in height, 21.5 cm in width and 22.5 cm in depth. The entrance hole has a diameter of 2.8 cm, and the front wall around the hole has a thickness of 2 cm, providing extra protection against predators and the weather. The solid wood-concrete construction gives a weight of approx. 4.7 kg. Made in Poland.
