60 metres of flexible plastic plant tie. From the English brand Garland.
This plant tie is made from a unique, patented material that is soft and flexible. It will not damage the plant or tree and expands as the plant or tree grows. Often used by professional gardeners.
The material is both frost-resistant and strong, and it can be reused for multiple plants.
3 mm thick.
Really good for tying up plants, as it is elastic and therefore gentle on them.
It is a lovely material that I use to weave through a steel trellis on my balcony. The steel trellis is at each end of my small balcony. Weaving the garden twine into the trellis creates a kind of windbreak.
Excellent soft plastic cord. Soft enough not to damage the plants, yet strong enough to withstand wind and weather. Very easy to work with. It does not stretch or loosen over time, but may become a little stiff after a year or so.
Great product and fast delivery
Unfortunately, it wasn't what I thought it was (not the company's fault). I'm trying to use it in a different way. I thought there was a thread inside, like the 4 mm one—that makes it a little stiffer.
