The lantern can be powered by 3 standard AA batteries or 2 rechargeable 18650 lithium-ion batteries, which provide significantly longer operating time. With rechargeable batteries, the lantern can provide light for up to 18 days at a lower brightness and more than 14 hours at full brightness. The batteries can easily be charged directly in the lantern via USB-C, so it is always ready for use. If you use AA batteries, you still get several days of light, depending on the selected brightness level.
