Koustrup & Co. glass coasters - club poppy

Lovely little gift box with 4 coasters featuring the long pricklyhead poppy from the Flora Danica collection.

The long pricklyhead poppy design was photographed from the original Flora Danica copperplate print. Flora Danica is one of the world’s most comprehensive botanical works and contains illustrations of all wild plants in Denmark. The work was published between 1761 and 1883.

The coasters measure 9 cm in diameter and come in an elegant brown gift box with gold print and an opening at the front.

They are made in Sweden from moulded birch veneer with an environmentally friendly coating.
