In winter, small birds need extra energy and fat balls are perfect for that purpose.

The plastic nets they often come in are not particularly attractive, and they are not good for the birds either. This beautiful star is both decorative and eliminates the need for plastic nets.

The star is made of powder-coated steel and measures approx. 12 cm along each side. A steel wire for hanging is included.

It comes in an attractive triangular cardboard box, making it ideal as a gift.

Star fat ball feeder

Bought 2 for hanging in a homemade wild bird aviary. Here, the garden's small birds are protected from birds of prey. (Mesh size 5 x 10 cm.)

Both the birds and we humans get a great deal of enjoyment from this aviary. The birds happily move around in and around the aviary and enjoy the food provided, while we residents delight in the very lively "traffic" in and around the feeding area.

They are really lovely and will hang in a conservatory or outdoors ;O)
They are a gift.
I have one in black myself, which hangs in my kitchen with tealight holders in it, and I’m extremely happy with it :O)
