Wildlife Garden cast iron bird - sparrow young

The bird is very realistic and made according to an old technique called mold casting, where liquid iron is poured into a mold that can only be used once. This means, as something completely unique, that the entire bird is made in one piece of cast iron without joints.

The cast iron is coated with a black surface treatment, which can initially cause a bit of contamination - therefore feel free to use felt pads.

Can also be placed outdoors where it will eventually acquire a rusty patina.
