VertiPlants wall pot - white€69.95Pots and Planters
The right pot gives the plant both room for its roots and a setting that complements its surroundings. Plant pots, wall-mounted pots, flower buckets, plant trays and other containers offer possibilities from windowsill to balcony and garden. Consider drainage, placement and the plant’s growth – and remember that a saucer or hanging fixture is not always included.

Zeller Flower Motif Plant Pot Set€20.95How big should the pot be?
A pot should accommodate the plant's current root ball and provide room for future growth. A pot that is too large can retain moisture for a long time; one that is too small dries out faster and can restrict root growth. Check both the internal and external dimensions if the pot needs to fit inside a planter or stand on a particular shelf.
Does the pot need a drainage hole?
Outdoor pots generally need drainage to prevent the roots from sitting in water. An indoor planter without a hole requires an inner pot or careful watering. Saucers, plugs, inserts and self-watering components are only included when specified. So consider excess water before placing the pot on a delicate surface.
Is the pot frost-resistant?
Ceramic, terracotta, metal and plastic have different weights and react differently to sunlight, moisture and cold. A pot intended for outdoor use is not automatically frost-resistant. Follow the instructions, avoid standing water in freezing weather, and always check the fittings on wall-mounted and hanging pots.
