Wildlife World log nest box - redneck

Natural birdhouse made from a piece of hollowed-out tree trunk by the English company Wildlife World.

The opening of this birdhouse is very large and is therefore specially designed for birds that prefer an open nest, such as robins, flycatchers and white wagtails.

The piece of wood still has its bark and has simply been hollowed out down the middle. A solid wood roof is fitted on top. The roof is hinged and can be opened by loosening two screws.

A piece of wood with a hole for screwing the birdhouse securely in place is fitted to the back. 

The natural wood gives it an attractive appearance that blends well into many gardens, while also serving a practical purpose by providing good insulation against the cold.
