Wildlife World nesting box for blackbird

Nest box specially designed for blackbirds by the British company Wildlife World.

Blackbirds prefer a completely different type of nest box from other garden birds, and this nest box is specially designed to meet their needs.

It features a projecting ledge that provides both protection and a good view. The pointed roof also directs rainwater out to the sides. The nest box should be hung at least 1.5 metres above the ground, preferably in a sheltered location. It is also important that it is somewhat concealed while being placed where predators such as cats cannot reach it.

Made from solid, slow-growing wood (FSC-certified), which is naturally durable without needing to be treated. Screws are also used instead of nails, ensuring that it stays securely assembled.

Handmade in England, so the cuts may be slightly uneven. Knots and small cracks may occur, as this is a 100% natural material.
