The nest box is made of solid, slow-growing wood that has a naturally long shelf life. At the same time, screws are used rather than nails, which ensures that it is held together well.

The wood is untreated and it is not recommended to paint or otherwise treat the wood, as bats have a very sensitive sense of smell.

Mounted optimally 2.5-5 meters above the ground and preferably in a place where there is only a little sun during the day - north, south-west or south-east.

Please note that it is handmade in England and may therefore be slightly unevenly cut. Knots and small cracks may occur as it is a 100% natural material.
