This cabin from Swedish Wildlife Garden is both a birdhouse and a feeding tray that can easily be changed at the end of the season. In the spring, it serves as a safe place when the birds are breeding. In the fall, it can very easily be changed into a feeding tray.
As a birdhouse, this cabin is adapted for sparrows and tits. It has been developed in collaboration with ornithology experts and has essential details such as climbing carvings up to the exit hole - vital for the little chicks when they are to go out and test their wings.
When you need to feed the birds, it is important that the birds cannot sit in the food. Diseases spread easily on open feeding trays. In this cabin, the feed is protected from dirt, rain, and snow, and the birds sit on perches and eat. The perches can, by the way, be pushed in so only small birds can sit there.
