MKW wooden birdhouse for blackbirds
This professional birdhouse from the Polish MKW has been developed in accordance with recognized ornithological guidelines and with a strong focus on the birds’ well-being. The model is suitable for, among others, redstart, spotted flycatcher, robin, blackbird, white wagtail, and wren, and provides safe and natural conditions for breeding in gardens, parks, and natural areas.
The birdhouse is made of solid FSC-certified softwood, with all parts precisely cut and assembled with screws for maximum durability. The surface is double-treated with natural linseed oil, providing effective protection against moisture, weather, and temperature fluctuations. The construction has a drainage hole in the bottom that ensures a healthy, dry nesting environment, and the design also reduces the risk of predator attacks.
The birdhouse measures 21 × 15 × 17 cm, has a roof depth of 23 cm, and an entrance opening of 5.5 × 11 cm. The weight is approximately 1.6 kg. Made in Poland.
