Traditional seed trays are made of plastic, which is both bad for the environment and often breaks quickly. These seed trays are made of natural rubber that can easily withstand bumps and knocks, and will therefore last for many years. They can also be bent, making it much easier to remove the plants.

The rubber used is FSC-certified, guaranteeing that it comes from rubber trees grown on plantations that have not replaced native forest. The plantations are also Fair Trade approved, ensuring better conditions for the farmers.

This model has 6 extra-large cells (each cell measures 6 x 6 x 6 cm), making it perfect for large plants such as beans or squash, or plants where several seeds can be sown together. See image 2 for a better impression of the size.
