Wildlife World crafts birdhouse - Sari

Unique handmade birdhouse made from sustainable materials.

The birdhouse is Fair Trade certified and made in southern Bangladesh, where handcrafting such products helps support the economic opportunities of women in particular—and thereby their families—in very poor areas.

It is made with a steel frame covered with seagrass and recycled fabric. Each birdhouse is therefore unique in colour, depending on the materials available and the artisan's inspiration.

The birdhouse serves both as a nesting place for garden birds in spring and summer and as shelter from the wind and weather during the rest of the year. So it is never too late or too early to put up a birdhouse.

Can be hung using the integrated cord or attached to, for example, a climbing plant using the built-in hooks on the back.
