In addition to the charming activity that small birds can bring to the garden, there are also other animals you may be lucky enough to have in your garden, such as hedgehogs, frogs, toads and squirrels. Squirrels are highly intelligent and will quickly work out that there is food here. They are also very active animals and therefore quickly burn off what they consume. They consequently need food rich in protein and fat, especially during the winter months, when staying warm requires extra energy – a feeding house for squirrels is therefore an excellent solution.
