Give GLS permission to deliver packages if you are not at home

When you order packages with delivery to your private address, we recommend that you have a permanent power of attorney with GLS. This means that GLS must put the parcels in a place of your choice if you are not at home. And even if you expect to be at home, you can be unlucky if the delivery man comes just as you are in the garden, in the bath etc.

It is free to register and simply requires you to fill in a form on the GLS website. Note that it only comes into effect when you have received a sticker from GLS, which is set up where packages must be left.

The power of attorney obviously applies to all online stores that deliver with GLS, not just Hokus Krokus , so it's a really smart service when you shop online.

We would like to point out that if packages are placed on a power of attorney, it is always at your own risk. Neither we nor GLS cover stolen packages.
