The house rat is widespread in most of the country and is known for its very characteristic sound. The bird is a resident bird, which means that it stays in the same area both summer and winter.

In the wild, a house jay grows up to about 45 cm long, this wood-carved bird is 33 cm from tip of beak to tip of tail.
