Wildlife World nest box for robin

€51.95

nest box in solid wood specially designed for rednecks, or red sleds as it is also called, from English Wildlife World . Designed by English nature photographer Simon King.

The robin prefers a nest with easy access via an open front, but at the same time wants to be hidden from predators. This nest box was designed with this in mind and easily lets the robin in, while the nest itself is hidden inside one side. At the bottom, there is a small separation between the entrance and the nest so that the eggs and nest material remain.

Hang the birdhouse in a place that has already grown, for example in bushes or on climbing plants. But rednecks also like to move into a shed etc., as long as there is always free access.

Made of solid, FSC-labeled wood. The roof is painted in a water-based paint that is harmless to the environment. On the back there is a plastic plate, made of recycled plastic, which makes it very easy to hang up.

Also suitable for other bird species that prefer the same type of nest, for example Wagtails and Pied Flycatchers.
